Specification and Modeling of a Hybrid 4G Traffic System using Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets
In this study, the architecture of 3G and 4G will be described and analyzed to understand the evolution of these two technologies.
The rest of our study consists in studying the types of data that are conveyed within 4G.
We will propose a model to differentiate the traffic carried by the 4G and finally performance criteria of this traffic model are analyzed. With 4G, all data (video, file exchange, voice) are transported in the same way, ie on IP packets; moreover, these packets do not have the same constraints in terms of quality of service. In this study, we will consider three classes of traffics (real time, non real time and best effort) that we will model using Generalized Stochastic Petri nets (GSPN).
The algorithm we proposed will differentiate these types of traffics. This model will be evaluated using the GreatSPN simulation software and its WNSIM extension.
