Etimation of recharge and evapotranspiration of groundwater during wet or dry periods according to the fluctuation of the dynamic level of the free water tables in the Lake Chad area (Chad)
The evolution of lake of Chad during the last millennium saw a change
in the hydrodynamic of the phreatic water table.
The collection of the dynamic monitoring of the Quaternary phreatic aquifers
over four years provided data on the changes in the dynamic levels of the free
water table due to the height of the lake water levels and to the rain
infiltrations [1]. That allowed an estimation of the refill (wet periods) and the release (dry periods) of free surface water tables of the region.
