DETERMINATION OF THE IMPACT OF THE GRAIN SIZE AND THE RECOMBINATION VELOCITY AT GRAIN BOUNDARY ON THE VALUES OF THE ELECTRICAL PARAMETERS OF A BIFACIAL POLYCRISTALLIN SILICON SOLAR CELL

Our objective in this study is to analyse the impact of the grain size and recombination velocity at grain boundary on the electrical parameter. After the resolution of the continuity equation the expression of photocurrent density and photovoltage are presented and the curve of the I-V characteristic is plotted; two equivalents electric circuit of the solar cell in open and short circuit are proposed allowing us to deduce the shunt and series resistance and their values respectively for large and low values of the grain size and recombination velocity at grain boundary
